Project Description
A Bio-Sand filter worth Rs 55,000 has been handed over to Shree Saraswati Adharbhut Vidyalaya Chotki Sisahania, located in Rapti Rural Municipality-7, Dang. The filter was handed over with the special support of the Rotary Club of Patan South. It is believed that with the installation of the filter, access to clean and safe drinking water will increase in schools. After the installation of the bio sand filter, students and teachers will be able to use pure water, which will help reduce water-borne diseases. It is also expected to make a significant contribution to promoting cleanliness, health awareness and a clean environment in schools.
