Project Description
A free artificial limb distribution program was successfully organized at Rotary Diagnostic Center, Birgunj (Parsa) with the objective of supporting underprivileged individuals who have lost limbs due to illness, accidents, or medical complications. The program brought a significant positive change in the lives of beneficiaries, including 91-year-old Krishna Prasad of Dhading and 53-year-old Anil Upadhyay, who were able to regain mobility and independence after receiving prosthetic limbs. In total, 17 beneficiaries from various hilly districts were brought to Birgunj and provided with free artificial limbs. This humanitarian initiative has been jointly organized through the collaboration of multiple Rotary and Rotaract clubs, including: Rotary Club of Gongabu, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Height, Rotary Club of Hetauda, Rotary Club of Kathmandu, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Downtown, Rotary Club of Matribhumi Baluwatar, Rotary Club of Rajdhani, Rotary Club of Nyatapola, and Rotaract Club of Gongabu North.
